After Mrs. Mitty came out of the drugstore, they climbed into their automobile, Walter fastened his seat belt, turned on the windscreen wipers and carefully pulled away from the curb. As they drove out of Waterbury, he noticed his wife wasn't feeling well, she looked as sick as a parrot. So he drove back into the city to drop Mrs.Mitty at the doctors. On there way. Walter saw a gorgeous girl that took his heart away the moment he laid eyes on her. He was as happy as a clam. His wife had noticed but didn't think much of it. But he's so ugly, he'd have to sneak up on a glass of water to get a drink which would mean this stunning girl wouldn't give Walter the time of day. Yet that didn't matter to him. He was keeping his eyes on the prize. Walter Mitty quickly snapped back to reality when his wife's annoying voice was yelling at him "stop the car, We've reached the doctors office". I quickly jolted to a stop. Mrs.Mitty quickly scurried out of the car and slammed the door behind her. He put the pedal to the medal and pulled a fast one to meet the girl of his dreams. As he approached this girl, he was clearly playing with fire. But that didn't matter, He was determined to talk to her. He began with a simple "hello". She was friendly and responded "how are you?". As he began to reply, no words came out. It was on the tip of his tongue, but nothing, not even a sound. He was fishing for compliments in his fat head. He was unable to go with the flow. She gave him a funny look and said " I'm busy as a bee, I"m sorry, I have to run off." And then she left, while he stood there in awe at what just happened. He sprung off his seat when a loud honk disrupted his fantasy. Walter looked back to see an enormous line of cars.
